Charmhaven’s ambitious new community precinct has reached a critical juncture, with the place delivery submission being accepted by the NSW State Government.
The proposals, which outline plans for residential, commercial, and recreational facilities, mark a significant step forward in turning the vision for Charmhaven into a reality.
The project is expected to transform the region into a vibrant, self-sustaining community, attracting families, businesses, and visitors.
Florian Caillon, Head of Acquisitions, explained that this submission represent years of careful site assessment planning and collaboration.
“This is an exciting milestone for us,” Caillon said.
“Being nominated in this process with the State Government brings us one step closer to breaking ground on this transformative development.
“Our proposals have been designed to meet both the needs of the community and the stringent requirements set by the government, and we’re confident they’ll move through the approval process smoothly.”
The Charmhaven precinct’s proposal includes a mix of residential options, from affordable housing to premium properties, along with retail and commercial spaces to support local businesses. Community spaces, parks, and recreational facilities are also central to the design, reflecting the developers’ commitment to creating a livable, thriving community.
Briane Swaine, Head of Thirdi Communities, emphasized the importance of these lodgments in the larger scope of the project.
“These lodgments signal the start of what will be a transformative journey for Charmhaven,” Brian said.
“We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that our vision aligns with government expectations and mandates while also prioritising the needs and desires of future residents.
The success of these proposals is crucial to turning Charmhaven into the premier development it’s destined to be.”
As the project moves through the approval process, Charmhaven’s developers are already preparing for the next steps, with construction expected to begin soon after approvals are secured.
